Andrew Morris was born in Worcester, England in the late 1960s.

He's been a writer for over thirty years, regularly producing fiction, reviews and articles on diverse subjects and, quite frequently, under a baffling array of noms-de-plume.

His earliest works saw print in the 1980s, in science-fiction and horror themed small-press publications like Unearthly Child, Into The Darkness, Cold Sweat, and In The Flesh. Since the late-1990s he's been sporadically producing articles for mainstream publications, Fortean Times, BBC Wildlife and GoreZone amongst them.

As an illustrator and photographer, his works have seen print in publications both sides of the Atlantic. His etchings are mostly Sci-Fi in nature, whilst his photography focuses primarily on the natural world and wildlife. His most recent contribution in the field of book illustration was to provide the internal artwork for Sabotage of the Daleks by Chloe Mortimer.

He has also occasionally worked in the British film and television industry both behind and in front of the camera, including Chimera (1989) Lycanthropy (Dir. Kevin McDonagh, 2006) and Faint Heart (Dir. Vito Rocco, 2008).

His first full-length novel, now out of print, was Given - A Very Personal Apocalypse, published by Pipit Books in 2012. It was an Amazon Best-Seller for two consecutive weekends, but proved to be rather controversial, somehow managing to annoy certain people from both sides of the atheist / religious fence. Broadly speaking, however, the novel was lauded and met with favourable reviews during the ten years it was in print.

He's also had proper jobs; he worked in a shop on Worcester High Street for a few years in the late 1980s, running the 8-bit computer games counter. He managed a One Hour Photo Lab back in the days when cameras used 35mm film - but digital technology made his position redundant. He was a Cinema Projectionist back in the days when projectors ran 35mm film... you can probably guess how that turned out. He's been a volunteer Aid Worker in Africa, and spent several years as a Coach and then Personnel Manager in the Logistics field.

He now lives in a rural village near Ashby-de-la-Zouch, where he's currently working on his third novel and also co-creating a second Time and Fate book.
